Donghai Holds Press Conference On Group Standard Of ''Handmade Press On Nails'' After Adding A New ''Business Card'' To ''World Crystal Capital''

On June 28, Donghai County, Lianyungang City, held a press conference on the "Handmade Press on Nail" group standard, which provided clear guidance for the evaluation of the press on nail industry, was conducive to improving the overall quality of press-on nails products, and promoted the healthy and orderly development of the Donghai press-on nails industry.

 

 

Since the rise of the press on nails industry in Donghai in 2019, it has now had 200 teams, 50,000 practitioners, and a daily output of 400,000 pairs. In 2023, the sales of handmade press on nails in Donghai County will be about 3 billion yuan, and the annual output will exceed 100 million pairs. Press on nail has become the second business card of Donghai County, the "Crystal Capital of the World". In order to ensure the healthy growth of press on nails companies, Donghai County has established a standard formulation working group, which has completed the formulation of the "Handmade Press on Nails" standard through project establishment, research, drafting, discussion, industry representative review, modification and improvement, and publicity. On June 8, the Donghai County Press on Nail Industry Association officially released and implemented the group standard "Handmade Press on Nails" on the National Group Standard Information Platform. It is the first group standard for the evaluation of handmade press on nails released in China.

 

 

The main contents of the group standard "Handmade press on nails" include: terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, evaluation and grading, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and other contents of handmade press on nails. Among them, the terms and definitions include nail pieces, craftsmanship, French style, gradient style, smudge style, cat's eye style, etc. The classification includes functional classification and appearance classification. The technical requirements include appearance, odor, size, discoloration test, heat resistance, cold resistance, dissolution of harmful elements, internal volume, shedding of decorations, etc., as well as the corresponding test methods. The evaluation and grading indicators of the group standard "Handmade Press on Nail" are one of the important contents of the standard. The grading indicators include single evaluation and comprehensive evaluation. Both single evaluation and comprehensive evaluation are divided into three levels: AA, A and B. Single evaluation mainly provides a basis for judgment between merchants, and comprehensive evaluation mainly provides a basis for judgment between merchants and consumers.

 

 

After the implementation of the standard, it will become the technical basis that the press on nail industry must comply with in production, inspection, packaging, storage, etc., and play an important role in ensuring product quality, improving market trust, promoting commodity circulation, and maintaining fair competition. It will effectively promote the development of the press on nail industry and continuously enhance its market influence and reputation. Donghai County will take standardization, regularization, and branding as its guide to vigorously improve the quality level of the press on nail industry and cultivate the press on nail industry into a "shining" business card of Donghai County.

 

 

The Donghai County Press on Nail Industry Association was established on December 29, 2023, and currently has 98 members. Since its establishment, the association has actively played a bridging role in industry services, social services, and government services, gathering talents, discussing major plans, and seeking good strategies in industrial development, and fully promoting the healthy and orderly development of the Donghai press on nails industry.

 

 

After the press conference, Donghai Crystal Group and Donghai Press on Nail Industry Association jointly held the opening ceremony of Donghai County Press on Nail Exhibition and Experience Center. The Donghai County Press on Nail Industry Association was unveiled and the appointment letters of the president and vice president were issued at the event. The 2024 China Donghai Handmade Press on Nail Design Competition and the Donghai Press on Nail Cartoon Theme Product Collection Activity were launched. Donghai Crystal Group and Alibaba Group will sign a live broadcast strategic agreement for the Donghai Press on Nail Industry Belt. Donghai Press on Nail Exhibition and Experience Center will launch the 2024 Press on Nail summer new products. The new products refer to the A-level and above product standards in the first domestic handmade press on nail group standard released, covering 5 series including hand-painted, cat-eye, inlaid, gradient, European and American styles, with a total of 200 models.
